Hello. I am struggling to find the right information regarding the short codes to turn the 3CX phone system on, off, etc.. Under Settings>Dial Codes there is a code to "Force 3CX Phone System to IN or OUT of office". It is code *66. When used, I only get the notification that "3CX Phone System is now using the default office hours" regardless of how many times I use the code. In other words, it's not shutting the phone system off (which I confirmed by calling into the system).

I found by dumb luck that *661 and *662 turn the system on/off respectfully. But when using *661 it turned the system on and neglected our office hours. The phones were on all weekend.

In an older version of 3CX I could of swore that there were short codes dedicated for turning the system on, off, off until the next schedule change, etc.etc. I did find this document: https://www.3cx.com/docs/pbx-dial-codes/ but none of the *64 variations work.

The shortcuts for in/out and default are defined under dial codes from the Settings page in the MGMT console.

from there you can dial how to set the hours as defined here

Please don't take this the wrong way but, did you read my entire post?

I stated in my OP that I found these settings, but the default *66 is not working. And your statement about "in/out and default" being found on this page are incorrect. I only see the below:

You referenced the same URL I referenced. Where none of the *64 variations work.

Ok you clearly didnt read the website then?

In your case..

*66 - DEFAULT OFFICE HOURS
*661 - IN OFFICE HOURS - FORCE 3CX ALWAYS OPEN
*662 - OUT OFFICE HOURS - FORCE 3CX ALWAYS CLOSED

There is no auto changing back regardless off which you choose. You must go back to default yourself.

You are correct....

Blew past the part that states "Let us assume" when by default the 3CX phone system uses *66.

Thanks Mate!
