What is the difference between; Yes – Automata, Yes – Static (Multi Account Support), and DID Inbound Only ?

Basically, stick to one trunk per provider.

What is the need here? (It's simply Yes or No (DID only))

I'm considering moving a bunch of lines from didlogic to flowroute. Trying to figure out if I need to delete all DIDs, then recreate them, or if I can just reassign them to another trunk.

Also, with didlogic, 3CX will accept calls to DIDs that are not explicitly added to the truck. I've done some testing with flowroute, and it seems that I have to have a DID configured on the truck to receive calls to it. I'm thinking that has something to do with the SI mode.

The SI mode has nothing to do with this.

- No, you can't "reassign" DIDs. You need new inbound rules. However, if you have a lot, you can use the export/import feature of Inbound Rules to quickly readd DIDs with the new trunk port number.

This is a simple thing to setup: port DIDs, configure trunk and new DIDs in 3CX, wait for port to complete, and then change your outbound rules.

Any incoming call to a DID not registered in DIDs and Inbound Rules will follow the default route (the one in the trunk general settings.)

So I could add the same DIDs under the new truck and they won't conflict with the existing ones while I'm waiting for the port to complete?

Exactly

Hi @coreybrett81

SI has everything to do with this and our flowroute guide states that you can have multiple flowroute accounts as long as the DIDs in each trunk are unique. It was actually flowroute that requested this configuration so that customers can have multiple accounts.

How does this affect you: The first thing to know is that you must enter all DIDs in your flowroute account as strict SI is enabled and calls to DIDs that are not configured in your trunk will fail. The second issue you will have is having the same numbers in both trunks during the porting. While the calls are still routed to didlogic everything will be fine but once calls start routing to flowroute everything will fail.
You will need to wait for the numbers to be ported to add them in your flowroute trunk and delete your didlogic trunk from the PBX.
The good news are that you can export your current inbound rules and change the internal trunk number by editing the csv file so you can import them again your flowroute trunk. When importing inbound rules, DIDs are automatically generated under the trunk as well.

So just to be clear...

Step 1... Create new trunk
2... Create port order and wait for port date
3... after port is complete, export DIDs
4... delete old trunk/DIDs
5... change trunk ID in exported file and import

I have to do number 4 before number 5?

Yes that is correct. Yes you will need to do number 4 before 5 because when the numbers are ported and calls are arriving in the Flowroute trunk calls will fail.

If you want to be safe before you delete anything just create a backup of the system and if anything goes wrong you can restore it.
