Since the update tot eh 3CX assistant i have the follwoing i

Error opening the log file, log file locked: C:\Users\rsingh\AppData\Roaming\3CX Assistant\Logs\tcx.assistant.client.exe.log Error:The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\rsingh\AppData\Roaming\3CX Assistant\Logs\tcx.assistant.client.exe.log' because it is being used by another process.

How do i resolve this?
The assistant client seems to hang when this occure, then eventually resums opperation as per normal.

Hi, find this file, C:\Users\rsingh\AppData\Roaming\3CX Assistant\Logs\tcx.assistant.client.exe.log
Locate it on the drive, close assistant delete it and start assistant again.
See if this resolves the problem.

Also confirm that you do not have multiple assistants running on the same machine.

Update:
I'm unsure if the error logged is related to this issue,
I have tried Micheals suggestions below, the errors are still being logged.

How to check this?
I have checked under msconfig, and disabled all 3cx apps

To recap the issue:
I have upgraded the clients to:
Installed Version 8.0.11114.0
Executable Version 8.0.0.11110

Since then users reported the following:
The client seems to crash (not responding)
The client takes long to log in or respond
The client constantly switches between "connected" and "logging in"

This means
they cannot log in / out of queues
they cannot transfer calls

Further, when the client appears to hang, calls are dropped - this is likely that the user is pressing buttons, but getting no response, and the useraction ends that call, or the call is transfered but the 3xc assistant does not reflect this.

I know there are other ways to log in and transfer ect, but the point of the assistant is to do this / make this easier.
