single DID fax to extension

I've been all through the interface, and can't seem to find a way to make it possible to fax to an extensions email address, without using separate DID's per user. Would it be possible to use the voice application designer to do this, or am I missing something?

I'd like to have a call attendant answer the incoming fax DID, and if an extension is dialed, start fax to that extensions email, if not, have it go to a default mailbox(which goes to our secretaries).

You need separate DID. No way to recognize fax automatically.
