Hello all,
Recently, from one day to the next out outgoing calls have been blocked, coming back with error 480 no routes found from our VoIP supplier.
We have a direct internet connection from 10.xx.xx.xx (our 3cx installation) to xx.xxx.xx.79 (the suppliers IP)
We have to set the following format in outbound parameters (was given to us by supplier, up until recently worked correctly):
To: User Part: CalledNum number that has been dialled
To: Host Part: XX.XXX.XX.79 (suppliers IP)
From: User Part: XXXXXX7800 (our telephone number)
From: Host Part: 10.XX.XX.XX (our 3CX IP)
Having run a capture on the corresponding interface (one is supplier facing, the other is internal network facing, no problems there), in the invite sent to the supplier the format is correct:
To: <sip:[email protected]>
From: "(Caller ID)"<sip:[email protected]>
The next entry in the capture is headed "100 Trying" it reverses the two host parts:
To: <sip:[email protected]>
From: "(Caller ID)"<sip:[email protected]>
I'm not sure if this is expected behaviour, not having any experience with SIP protocols in particular. If I read it right, the 3CX installation is somehow mixing up the host parts, with the result the supplier's system is telling me I don't know what you're talking about.
I'm not sure if anyone knows if this is correct, or otherwise what the problem could be?? I have already contacted the supplier support and they just say that the format is incorrect and its my problem.
