After we upgraded to SP6 the sip invite header over the VPN goes out as the external.

if you call extension [email protected] from [email protected] the sip invite shows if from 100@externalip the RTP packets send from 2.2.2.2 to 1.1.1.1 but then return from 1.1.1.1 to external, so you get no voice from the 1.1.1.1 side. I verified that if I call from [email protected] to [email protected] the SIP Invite is correct. A little help please!

Please advise as to your network topology a little more - so you have 3CX at the main site and phones down the VPN ? if so which models ?

If so when I set up this same topology I required PBX delivers audio to be enabled on the extensions of the phones.

There are settings I believe on the SIP trunk to manipulate your SIP Invites however this looks like a local issue - confirm perhaps where the calls are going, they maybe trying to go external.

If ever you don't hear voice on one side (or both for that matter), start here. I was considering replying with the same info but @eddv123 beat me to it.

IPSec Tunnel, and it's a yealink t46g. Was working fine before the upgrade. PBX delivers audio is on. You can clearly see in the SIP invite, that it is going out as the external IP and not the internal.
If the extension is set to local, shouldn't the SIP Invite come from ext@localpbxip not ext@publicip ?
