I've been having an issue with my 2 Fanvil X4 phones and iPhone app not being registered every morning. I have a "SIP Registry Failed" error on the handsets and the connection icon is gray on the iPhone app. If I restart the server the phones come back alive and work until the next day. I have factory reset the phones and tried to re-provision but the only way to make it successfully provision is restart the server first.

Debian Install
V18 Update 8
Dynamic IP
Fanvil X4U 2.4.12

You mentioned that you are using "Dynamic IP", does your ip change frequently?

I will check that. Funny it stayed working this morning. I have my IP noted down and will see if the IP changes if/when it becomes unresponsive again.

So I had the issue again this morning. It had worked since Wednesday this time. I can get to the web login screen from inside or outside the network but I get a "Server Error" when trying to login. IP address did not change.

I'm not sure if this is related but this even shows up before the issue happened this time around.

Database maintenance task has been finished.

Restarting always fixes it but it's inconvenient to say the least.

This is totally different as there issue on the machine. Getting the "Server Error" indicates that some 3CX Services are not running at that time. Ensure also:
• At that time check for the 3CX Services
• Ensure that your machine does not have any 3rd party installations
• Ensure that the hardware specifications are configure as per 3CX Recommended Hardware Specs Guideline

I was able to login to the server today but the extensions went offline until I restarted.

CPU is a 2.2GHZ Celeron
6GB Ram
128gb SSD

Install is just debian install from 3CX. Nothing else added.

There is only 1 extension that is typically used. Deskphone and iPhone app. Everything works perfectly fine but for this extension dropping off situation.

Just to clear things, the issue with the Server Error is not there anymore correct?
You still experience the issue with the registration of the extension?
Have you set to Static ip?

I have not had the server error after restarting but it has happened a few times in the past as well. Phones are back communicating at the moment but their issue is more common. The deskphones are provisioning through the local IP and the iPhone is through the FQDN. I have not setup a static IP address but the IP has not changed for over a week and I have had the issue of the phones losing registration 2 times and the server error once in that week.

Mixing things can make it more complicated. You need to eliminate this. The local phones i suppose are not affected.
Now the issue is only have the server error or this is irrelevant?

Phones on the LAN and iPhone app are both affected. Server error is few and far between. The SIP registration issue is much more common. It started happening in August. Phone system was installed March of '22 and did not have this issue from then until August this year. It's kind of perplexing.

Sip registration failure on a local LAN means that the phones cannot contact the sip server or do not receive responses.
This requires investigation on your network.
