Hi All,
I'm trying to stage a move from ShoreTel to 3CX, and want to move our department over to 3CX, while still maintaining some connectivity to the rest of the organisation.
I have managed to get a SIP tie between ShoreTel and 3CX by adding it as an unauthenticated SIP trunk in 3CX (I couldn't get a bridge working, as both ShoreTel and 3CX need to be the "master" in this case from what I can tell)
I have created outbound rules so now I can call from 3CX to any extension on Shoretel with no issues (I do loose caller ID but I'll work on that) the issues I have is inbound calls form ShoreTel to 3CX.
We use 3 digit extensions, and through I just needed to add a DID to the SIP tie, and then an inbound rule for that DID to the extension. However I cannot add 3 digit DIDs. Is there a better way to do this? And can I have a DID the same number as my extensions?
Thanks in advance
