SIP Trunk connecting to 3CX

Good Day

I am from philippines and we have a SIP Trunk that is on the Branch sitting that we cant use, and our IP PBX - 3CX is hosted in the Cloud. As for the technical personnel who came installed the SIP Trunk in the branch office said that we just need to plug the RJ 45 Cable to the PBX and provided the SBC IP to connect, We are connected to the Datacenter via Site to Site VPN, i wanted to connect the SIP Trunk to our LAN but it has a different Subnet and they cant change it. I manage to make our FXO Gateway work in our lan and all outbound and inbound calls to there but it is only 4.

Any idea on how to make our SIP Trunk work like the FXO gateway that we can assign a Local IP?

From the sounds of it, your SIP trunk provider only allows a connection to equipment at your site, not to a remotely located PBX.

i wanted to connect the SIP Trunk to our LAN but it has a different Subnet and they cant change it.

Who can't change? Your equipment, or the providers? From the sounds of it, it you want to connect using VPN, one or the other may have to.

If you provide the name of the SIP trunk provider, someone else may have some experience with them, and a possible work around. Hosting the PBX locally is not possible?

They cant change the subnet and IP of the SIP Trunk , they said this was automatically generated from the system and unique from every client also the provider we have is PLDT, we already thought of having a local PBX Setup , but i wanted to resolve the current scenario if possible, so that all branches in the future will be connected directly at the Data Center

You could potentially add the sip trunk's subnet to your VPN, but the carrier would need to allow you to specify a gateway (of your router) and they may not allow that.
If you have cisco on both sides of you VPN, you could build an L2 bridge over the tunnel. Also sometimes called Ethernet encapsulation or EoIP tunnel. But I don't recommend either method.

Birch (formerly Cbeyond) used to sell SIP trunks tied to the on-premise account. I was a big fan, they were very reliable, good QOS.

If your server is cloud, Id switch to a cloud trunk provider.

I was thinking of Plugging Sip Trunk on a WAN Port of CIsco RV042 Router, for the 3cx my SIP Trunk gateway will be Cisco router and assign my local Subnet Static IP. Do you think this setup will work?
