Hi,

I am new to SIP trunks and would like to know about how to connect SIP trunk lines from service provider.
We have an office in UAE where we have PRI line configured on 3cx and everything seems to work fine. We have used Patton SN 4171 to connect the PRI lines. Now I need to connect our KSA office on the same PBX system. We have requested for 20 channel 100 DID SIP trunk connection. So as per them they will give a one /30 private IP address to connect to customer SBC.We already have a VPN connection between the offices.
What device will i need to bring the lines here and configure the trunk in the same 3cx system. Or is there any way i can do it without a device.

Thanks in advance

Hi @Vineeth Mohan

The optimum scenario would be for the provider to deliver the SBC device to the office where 3CX is installed. From there you will need a second NIC on the 3CX server that will be used for communication to the providers SBC via static routes.
Depending on the size of the second office and the device users will be using there you can install a 3CX SBC to connect users to 3CX. If the size of the office is very large you can install a second 3CX PBX there and bridge the 2 together. That way you can terminate the trunk to that office as well.

The size of your offices and your configuration matter a lot in this instance.
