Is it possible for the 3CX system to reject a call if simultaneous calls are approaching limit of SIP trunk for certain numbers? Reason is for 911 to make sure a slot is always available. Other reason is customer wants to prioritize or have a inbound call to main line take precedence over an outbound DID call. But I don't think the system is that advanced, rather just need to monitor trunks and order more if needed?

Hi there newuser1,

If you update 3CX to the latest service pack, you will be able to temporarily bypass the license limit for Emergency Numbers.

You will, however need to define 911 as an Emergency Number, and not just create it in the Outbound rules.

Go to "Settings"
Go to "PBX"
Go to the "Emergency Numbers" section and add your emergency number (911)

Note that the PBX will be able to bypass the license limit temporarily, however, we will not be able to bypass the SIP trunk limit. That is up to the SIP Trunk to allow more calls than what you are allowed.

I have an outbound rule for this already but if I go to the Emergency number section and try to add 911 I get the following error: The Emergency Number already exists in the system. Please change the prefix or route and try again.

I have searched for 911 ext in the system and it does not exist.
