SIP trunk problem from NEC SV8300 system

Hi there, I got problem with SIP trunk setup with NEC SV8300 system, 3CX use 5 digits extension:
1. No problem make call from 3CX to SV8300 via SIP trunk (with 8 tunnels license purchased in NEC);
2. When make call from NEC to 3CX, some number can call over, some number can't:
a) dial 28000, and in 3CX, ext. 28000 will forward to 28261 which will match to Outbound rule to FXO gateway, call success;
b) dial 28261, which will match to Outbound rule to FXO gateway, call failed.
==> confirm NEC setup to allow all calls with prefix 28 will go to the SIP trunk.
c) tried to setup extension 28001, and forward to 28261 too, got same problem as calling 28261 from NEC.

same issue with other number like 31000 ok, but 31001 can't go through...

3CX log file attached, it saying: Authentication failed. I couldn't understand why 28000 no such issue?

JX, nice to meet you. Im from Argentina, specialist in SV8300 systems and it's a pleasure for me to try to help to find the problem. First of all, based on the log file you have attached here, I'd try to change the port at the 3CX setting. It is because by default, SV8300 systems comes port # 5070 and not 5060 like the mayority of SIP systems. I don't know why it execute a call with the numbers you tell us, it is motive of analisys, but first let me know if it works after modify it.

I take it that these boards are not located on the same LAN as i see a URL being used...From: "22161"<sip:22161@douyee.com.sg:5060>;tag=76f84cd1a5711-96

Do you have that URL datafilled in 3CX, under Settings/Advanced/local SIP domain?

Can you post a log showing a working call and failed call for comparison?

Hi,

I would like to know how to setup interconnection between NEC and 3CX. We have no issues calling from 3CX to NEC extension numbers. However calls from NEC to 3CX is still unsuccessful. Would appreciate if you could guide me on how to do the setup in NEC side for this to be successful. A detailed step by step instruction is highly appreciated.
