I am new to using 3CX.
I have setup a server using the Linux ISO.
All appears to be running OK, however I am attempting to add a SIP trunk, but not having any luck making it work.
I believe all the details entered are correct, yet the icon in the SIP account list shows a Red icon.
I am assuming this means it is not connecting.
Looking to find out where I get error information to know what the problem connecting is.
Thanks for any tips.

Red icon means your provider is 3cx supported

under sip trunks, it will show you if it registered , also check the logs for any errors

Are you using a supported sip provider from the list or a unsupported?
Does your firewall checker pass?

Can you share a screen copy of trunk settings,(hide sensitives infos)

This simply means that your SIP trunk is not registered to your trunk provider - re-check the credentials you have been sent match that in the 3CX interface.

If you run a PCAP trace from the PBX I think chances are you will see an error code coming back from the provider (you can hit the re-register button on 3CX to force this process) however it would be useful to know if such an error is being sent and what error it is.

It might help if you divulged which SIP provider you are using, I assume it's not a secret. Someone else may be using the same provider.
