SIP trunk to External Non-3CX System

I am working on implementing our security system into 3CX so it can page when an emergency event occurs however it is not working correctly.

I implemented it as a generic trunk to the other server and I am able to call from 3CX and have it register to the security system side of things, but when I am calling from the security system to 3CX it is like it is blocked or something it rings but never picks up.

Please note that this is not a supported scenario. Only supported Sip trunks should be used with 3CX, 3rd party systems, or unsupported providers should not be used as no support can be offered.

Have you used the 3CX Activity Log (Verbose), to confirm that the call is even reaching the PBX? If it is, then, the log may show why it does not route where you expect it to go. If there is no call in the log, then the other end may not be sending the call to the correct destination, or, you may have a firewall / network issue.
