Hi,
I have an installation with a SIP-trunk unregistering frequently, several times a day. What log settings should I configure to identify the origins of such service disruptions are? And what specific logfile should I look at?

A fairly easy way would be to:
  1. Set Verbose logging in Dashboard --> Activity Log --> Settings
  2. Wait until it happens again
  3. Once it happens, as soon as possible after the event, go to Activity Log again and search for ClientReg Send Req REGISTER
This will show something like this:

  4. Identify the 5-digit SIP Trunk ID (example in green) and then change the search parameter to that
  5. Now it should show you the registration details and possibly a clue of what went wrong, example:
1642683010508.pngwhich in this case shows the the provider from IP 93.xx.xx.xx:5060 rejected the registration request with a 403 Forbidden error, in which case means you should speak to your provider.
