SIP Trunk

I have a SIP Trunk provider who has an online portal to configure the number and to set it up as a trunk it says to point the provider to the PABX.
The options are
Protocol
Host
DTMF Mode

Is it possible to configure a trunk in 3CX (V16.5) to work like this? If so what would I put in the host? My 3CX FDQN?
Then how do I set up a generic Trunk in 3CX to accept this?

Who is the provider? ...others may have used them in the past. The information you posted doesn't really say much.

From the provider you will generally receive..

a user name/number
a password
a registration IP/URL
sometimes a Proxy IP/URL
