Hi @all,
3 days ago, I installed 3CX v15.5 (PRO) on Windows Server 2012 R2.
The problem I've been experiencing in the past 48 hours is that once I create a Trunk, it disappears after a few minutes.
The only known problem with my installation is a failing firewall config (I had installed on a server with 2 interfaces; one private and another public...now I want to remove the public IP attached and have the network admin do port forwarding). Anyway, it will take a few hours for the network admin to implement the NATting.

Could this result in trunks disappearing?

Hello @Dayo Ayeni

I have not heard of trunks disappearing before to be honest. By disappearing i assume you mean they are completely removed from the management console? If so what browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser? Do you get any errors when creating the trunks? Also does this happen with all trunk templates or with a specific one?
And to answer your question. no the firewall checker no passing does not affect the creation of trunks.

Hi @YiannisH_3CX
Thanks for the quick feedback.
Yes, it just disappears from the management console (and the database too - I logged into the backing postgres db and watched from there).
I use chrome on my remote pc (my laptop), and firefox on the server. I do not get errors when creating the trunk.
This happens with all trunk templates - even "gateway" type.

Since I posted this thread, I created 2 SIP trunk profiles (one for the sangoma a101 PSTN <-> voip card and another for a voip provider)...
Both trunks are gone now

First of all i would recommend not logging into the database as that can cause more issues than it fixes. Do you have any scheduled restore backups that might be overwriting the configuration of the PBX? What about browsers? Have you tried from a different browser to see if that makes a difference?

Yea...I tried not doing that, but didn't know where else to look.
No, no scheduled restore - besides this happens between 10s and a few minutes.
Switching between chrome and FF doesn't seem to make any difference.

Please check your inbox as we will need to take a closer look at the issue.

It turned out that my installation was being sabotaged. Before the OS password was modified, a nefarious individual had gained access and elevated the rights of one of the extension users to admin.
Once this was taken care of, my trunks stopped disappearing. Thanks @YiannisH_3CX

In good fun or someone who should be fired or an outside party?

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread with your solution
