I am currently using IP Auth and voip.ms is saying, and I am seeing it in the logs, that 10000 is being sent as my userid. I just made sure the authentication ID has the correct SIP userid. I am still seeing 10000 being sent to voip.ms.

how can we correct this?

Thanks leon

Hello @Leon Zetekoff

I am guessing that you have voip.ms set as a generic SIP trunk since it is not a supported provider. 10000 is the PBX internal line ID which should not be set in the generic template by default.
Without knowing what you changed i would recommend looking into the outbound rules of the provider and making sure that the value "LineID Internal number of line" is not set anywhere.
If it is replace it with Auth ID and the PBX will send whatever is the Authentication ID field.

Hi there...I am using IP AUTH so there should be no SIP user for the trunks, no?

hi there..voip.ms is requesting a copy of my config for the trunk. How can I get that to them?

In the meantime, I am using user/pass auth.

thanks leon

ok why is user/pass auth still sending out 10000 for the sip user when i have defined my voip.ms user???

I am assuming that you are now using the trunk as registration based since the trunk is trying to register to voip.ms

06/04/2018 7:38:06 PM - [CM504004]: Registration succeeded for: Lc:10000(@Voip.ms[<sip:[email protected]:5060>])

Do you have 10000 set as your Auth ID? What template have you used to set the trunk up?

no I don't I have my voip.ms one set. I am using the generic template
