Trying to use search, but SBC is too small for the search bar.

Curious, I have 2 offices setup via bridging and each side has their own SIP trunks. I am considering doing away with one office 3CX and using SBC to bring it together.. I would still like to use the SIP trunks in the remote office that would have the SBC (as I am under contract that I can't get out of, plus I would need the extra lines).

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Phil

Professional SBC (like an audiocodes) would do this. 3CX SBC is simply a program/proxy which connects phones remotely to 3CX PBX its not a full blown B2BUA type device.

With that being said why not simply move 3CX to the cloud and facilitate both sites remotely from one location ?

Are the SIP trunks, serving the office that you want to place the SBC, the same provider as at the site where the PBX will remain? If they are, then you should be able to move DIDs and such over to the other trunk
group. It would probably be advisable to contact the provider, explain what you wish to do, and ask for suggestions on how best to make it work.
If the two offices have different providers, then the trunk group could simply be moved to the other PBX. Of course, this is assuming that the two offices are located in the same country (VoIP provider service area).
