Hello,

When using "Smartphone" mode or "3CX Client for Windows" mode, the browser extension still pop-up for incoming / outgoing calls which can be pretty confusing for an end user.

Is it possible to activate/add an option to not pop up the browser extension when the call mode is not explicitely set up to "Browser Extension"?

(Worse, when the 3CX client is on an Android version not supporting Telecom Framework (ConnectionService API), the browser extension pops up but is not usable -which is normal- but again more confusing for an end user).

Regards

Hi there!

It could be something to consider, but the by the time you have your Mobile App configured with the same extension you have open in your WebClient, and your WebClient/Browser Extension is set to "Smartphone" mode, it is taken that the user wishes to use those 2 in tandem, so initiating calls from the BE and using the Mobile App to speak, or on incoming calls, send a call directly to VMail from the BE without interacting with the Mobile App.

I see how this could be confusing for a user that doesn't want to use it this way though, but I think the solution here would be to just advise the user to put the WebClient/BE in "Browser Extension" mode, so that they essentially have 2 clients, the BE and the Mobile App.
