SMB Free – Outgoing calls to Russia (+7) blocked by Country Blocking

Hello,

We are using 3CX SMB Free, V20 Update 9 (Build 995).

Outgoing calls to Russian numbers starting with +7 are being rejected by 3CX.

The Event Log shows Event ID 12296:

“Call has been rejected by the 3CX Country Blocking Feature. Calls to +79 are not allowed by system.”

We understand that on an SMB Free tenant, Advanced → Allowed Country Codes is not available to the customer administrator.

Could you please advise how we can enable Russia (+7 / +79) for outgoing calls on our SMB tenant?

Our SIP trunk is configured and the outbound rule is in place. The Event Log confirms that the call is currently being rejected by 3CX before it reaches the SIP trunk.

Hello

An SMB is essentially a tenant within 3CX’s multi-tenant environment. Therefore, only 3CX can enable calling to that country. However, it is unlikely that they will do so. In your case, the best option would be to use a free 4SC instance or purchase a commercial license so you can make calls to Russia.
