We are using SMB v20 hosted by 3CX with Voxtelesys. Recently, staff reported to me that they are missing SMS messages on their extenstions. After investigating, it looks like anything prior to 10/12/25 is gone on all extensions. My event logs also end at this date. This is the same on the web console or ios/android apps. API key and webhook appear to be correct, and all settings are correct in the Trunk. It looks like I'm not the only person with the issue, but I've yet to see a workable solution on here. Anybody?

I believe I discovered the issue. Our license expired and apparently SMB is no longer available. Would have been nice to receive some type of notification on this, or at the very least, a notification that my license was no longer active.

You need to login 1x in 90 days to stay active.

@ryan11878 if you want to look at getting a dedicated system you can reach out to [email protected]. This would be a yearly renewal that you get notified on prior to license expiration.

So, I was just informed by our 3CX partner rep that there is no migration path from SMB to another license. So, in order to purchase a new license to get things working properly I will need a new system install, which means reconfiguring my entire system AND my missing SMS messages and call logs are just GONE. This is beyond unacceptable, especially since I received absolutely no communication from 3CX on this. The only thing I have from 3CX was back in July telling me to be sure I was on V20. Sorry to say, but 3CX just lost a customer.

Smb is a free licence with no support. Why did your partner didnt inform you about the conditions?

I had a paid version of SMB that expired in October of this year. Why is there no migration option available for a paid customer? And why didn't my partner or 3CX notify me is an excellent question.

If it expired why you wonder why it's gone? There never was a migration path from smb to any other licence. That's also an information your partner should have give you.

I know why it's gone. I'm frustrated that there is no way to get it back, and that I wasn't given proper information before this happened. Do you have any solutions, or are you just going to keep asking annoying questions?

There is no way to get it back. My solution is to change your partner to one that help you to set up a new pbx and give you the right informations.
