SMS Locked to User/Agent

We have an SMS thread that is locked to a user, but the user has been deleted from the system, yet whenever we try to engage that person we are unable to. We have enabled the setting to auto close and archive any open thread daily.

Hi!

When you delete a 3CX User that has an active SMS conversation with an external number, this conversations are closed, so as to allow other Users to initiate new conversations to this External Number.

Could you send a screenshot of the error you are getting?
Also can you please confirm that you deleted this user while your 3CX system was on V18 U2?

Yes the user was deleted. I recreated the extension to see if there was a way to access the messages, but that didn't work either. Please find the screenshots below.

I cannot be 100% sure but don't think the user was deleted while on the latest version. We just upgraded it within this past week.

Do you have the ability to Purge/Delete all the Chat Logs?
If this is something that you can do, this I believe will solve the issue and now that you are on the latest update this should not happen again.

I believe there was a version on V16 where this happened, but it was since fixed so now when you delete the extension, it auto-closes all linked conversations.
