Solved SMS - Queue or Ring Group

I have been looking for the right solution, as you know SMS to a queue when a response is made the message disappears from open view and is locked to the user that has "taken" the message. Dose the same thing happen in a ring group? Currently I will see a message pop up when it comes in, my office manager will respond and it's gone, I can't read the message or the response. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't need to have auto-take enabled. That's only for queues FYI.

Ring groups are forced to auto-take.
