I've reached out to Bandwidth to try to possibly get an NFR license to try out SMS texting, before i start selling it to my clients. i don't feel like i'm getting much of a response. any recommendations on who i should try next? Voxtelesys, Flowroute, or Skyetel?

Thanks in Advance!!

If you are looking for responsiveness, reach out and see who responds. Otherwise, I believe all three offer free or low cost sign-ups to test.

I personally feel that support of a product is one of the biggest items to evaluate.

Flowroute used to feel the most professional of the bunch, but post the BCMOne acquisition it's been much harder to get someone on the phone should there be an issue.

Voxtelesys has been very responsive in the forums recently though.

thank you both for your replies! much appreciated!!!

Voxtelesys here: When it comes to SMS/MMS it is required that numbers be registered on a messaging campaign with the TCR before you can send outbound messages. Even for testing or proof of concept your messages may be blocked or incur extra charges for unregistered messaging. The good news is that it is not terribly expensive to get a campaign setup, on our end you can do it directly from our portal then assign the camp to your numbers from there!

If you want to know more or have any other questions feel free to reach out! On a side note messaging outside of wireless carriers has been a rollercoaster of changes, updates, etc this last year so expect more regulation changes from T-mobile, Verizon, and ATT in the future...
*Note messaging over toll free numbers requires a different type of registration and is currently a manual form that needs to be completed :(
