Snom 300 - display langue choice randomly

Hi,
since PBx is in latest V18 release, I get on Snom 300 a message to choose language

If I press down arrow then another message is displayed to let me know language choice has failed


If I press the delete button , this message goes away but it come back randomly alone. Extension is set to be in French on Pbx side, Provisioning is local LAN
Is there something already known ? is there a way to prevent this message to come ?

it seems this happens each new provisioning (so almost one per day) , so does it means something is not ok with the provisioning template or infos sent to the phone are not expected or missing?

Hello @aws2p please note that the snom 300 is an EOL phone, so the same must be manually configured as shown here https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/manually-provision-snom-300-320-360-370/

There's no provisioning template for such EOL phones, so language display name must be configured directly in the phone's GUI

Thanks Alejandro, yes this is EOL phone but I don't understand what you mean language must be configured in GUI.
This is already existing setting in GUI

If the language is already selected, but the phone keeps prompting you randomly, then it would probably be a device fault.

Maybe Snom could help you with this, but I think this model is 18 years old now so I would not expect too much..

This is not a big problem, This started to be displayed since V18 U5 so I don't know if this is related to a faulty phone (it's working normally except this) or some change from V18.
Close the post i will try Snom Helpdesk if this is manageable or not.
