I am having issues with my Snom 710 phone, I can't hear anything when I answer a call but the other party could hear me very well. I have call echo checks but same thing.
Is this a local or remote extension? Also what firmware is the phone on and what template are you using?
Is the issue present when you are calling another extension?
Have you port forwarded the ports at the remote site? Each phone should have it's own sip an RTP port and they should be forwarded to the local IP of the phone at the remote site.
Have you tried enabling PBX delivers audio under the extension settings / rights? One way audio usually indicates a firewall issue. You could try installing an SBC as a test and try to provision the phone behind the SBC to eliminate any firewall issues at the remote site.
Please try/check next and test again:
- Check in routers (local and remote) if SIP ALG is disabled
- Reset phone to factory default
- Try phone on the same LAN as the PBX reside
Do you have issues only with this particular phone (Snom710) or with all the connected phones?
Do the softphone(s) work correctly (e.g. Windows, iPhone, Android)?
Everybody, including me, always says upgrade to the latest firmware version when there are issues, but did you tried to downgrade to version 8.7.5.35 and test again?
