Solved Snom D717 and D735 firmware outdated on 3CX

Sorry if it has been already posted, I didn't find the topic

We have a problem with the new Snom D717 / D735 hardware version

Since 3CX uses this firmware version : 10.1.73.16
And new hardware needs minimal version : 10.1.73.20 (officially 10.1.84.12 on Snom KB but 10.1.73.20 is the one installed by default)
Phones are trying to downgrade firmware periodically, and fail to do that...

the new SNOM D717 phones still cannot be used. The necessary firmware 10.1.84.12 has been provided by SNOM since August 17, 2021. Please update 3CX as soon as possible.

Customers are waiting for their new telephone system.

Hello,

Please note that a new firmware has been released today (New Version: 10.1.84.15)

It should appear within a few hours on all systems that have Snom phones.



PS: Version 10.1.84.12 was not released for good reason. There was an issue causing one way audio during transfers. If you noticed a delay it was because we were waiting for the fix before releasing.
