I have two Snom phones on a demo system. They give me an error each time that I boot up the phone. The phones are on the supported firmware version.

I spent half an hour working with Snom support. I downloaded firmware from their site and then installed it on one phone. That worked. It doesn't look like an issue with the phone.

But when I boot up connected to 3CX, I get an error every time. Is the problem with 3CX? Can I delete the firmware/snom directory and have 3CX reload it?

Thanks.

If they are already on the supported version what firmware did you install?

Looking at the screenshot, I would say it's trying to update from snom.

What happens if you factory reset the phone, and restart the phone without any network cable attached.

3CX does not automatically update the firmware, you have to push it out via the console.

Snom still re-install a firmware even the firmware is the same as the one from the server. Dont ask me why but when it learns it from the Provisioning server it will "eat" it regardless again.

I would check the snom Activity Log. Is it a customer SSL Cert or a 3CX Provided one?
