Hello,

I am having several D710 connected with my PBX. Works smooth and without any issues.
Now I wanted to add a D785 to my User.
I have selected a new device D785, typed in the MAC address and waited few hours for RPS.

After that time, I have resetted the phone, but it doen't load the config.
So I tried a second method to add the URL: https://pbx.example.org/provisioning/me7h50dnrkw9u/cfg{mac} at the Webinterface in Setup -> Advanced -> Update -> Setting URL.
This didn't work as well...

Any Ideas how to get that phone connected to the PBX?

Thanks

Stefan

Hi,

If you added the phone correctly, the RPS entry should appear in your Event Log (check to confirm).

If the MAC added to RPS successfully, then go ahead and factory reset the Snom, and it should come up provisioned shortly after booting into the main menu.

- Check RPS entry (the MAC needs to be 100% correct, no typos)
- Check the blacklist in case the phone was blacklisted for some reason
- Ensure that the phone can actually reach your URL, it might not be able to do so (Snom web UI logs)
- Make sure the provisioning method you used is actually valid (ie. LAN will not use RPS)

Thanks for your reply.

RPS entry:
RPS request for Snom (MAC:000XXXXXXXXX) IP Phone of Stefan (809) delivered successfully
No typos, checked the webinterface:

Production Information:
Mac:000XXXXXXXXX;Hardware: D785;Date:09/17;Copyright(C) snom technology GmbH

No blacklist entry, cause I have whitelisted the IP.

Phone, can reach the URL, I have tested it with manual adding my User as an Identity and it became green at PBX.
But unfortunately I could not maintain the phone, restarting it or install a firmware update.

Is your phone using STUN provisioning?
