Snom local directory block provisionning...

Hello,

Since I have add 3500 contacts on global directory, since Snom phone (D735 firmware 10.1.141.10) block on redirect provisonning in progress......and after 5 mn reboot....
Bug with this firmware ? anyone have meet this case ?

I know there is a limitation, but snom phone normaly can take the first 1000 contacts (or maximum capacity) and let the others without blocking provisonning...

Without global directory, provisionning is ok. It's a azur vm with a local sbc. May be another solution it's possible to query phonebook from snom to a cloud directory or 3cx server ? thank's

This sounds like a very different issue. In fact we cannot replicate this here, as the phone downloads the contacts from 3CX, sees the directory is too large, and immediately ignores them. The moment we delete the contacts and leave under 1000, it can instantly reprovision and show them again. And if we add 5000 contacts and reprovision, immediately it will ignore them and will continue to work fine.

You can try deleting the contacts to see if it makes a difference, but I think it will behave the same way regardless because you appear to have a provisioning issue, rather than a contacts-related issue. The redirection message is the phone trying to reach Snom's RPS to see if it has any provisioning instructions. If this is failing I think your problem lies elsewhere.

Hi, on a Snom D785 and PBx Windows on premise on same LAN as the phone, provisioning is no more working.
While in console clicking on reprovision button do nothing.
All others phones are updated with reprovision as also desktopApp and IOS and Android too.
D785 is 10.1.141.10 Fw release
My phone book is less than 50 entries.

Delete the phone from the extension before you assign it again, and Factory reset and try again please.
