Hoping someone may be a step ahead of me. We are deploying a new V18 System. Included is a new Snom M100 KLE DECT Based for a couple Cordless Phones. 3CX does NOT have a Template for this Base (yet...its too new!)

Snom has provided a Custom Template for the M100 KLE to be used for the V18 Product, however, the instructions I have seem to be able to connect ONE SINGLE HandSet as a registered extension, but doesn't help in registering the Base itself.

Has anyone successfully registered a Snom M100 KLE to a V18 yet?

Any help would be appreciated.

The Snom M100 KLE DECT system is a great little Key Line Emulated (KLE) VoIP system (8 SIP Accounts) with WIRELESS/DECT phones with four "LINE" buttons that can be mapped to any of the 8 possible SIP Accounts.

I am not sure about the M100's future as the current generations don't seem to care about the simplicity/practicality of Key Line Emulation in a business, especially a small business - Thus Snom might not see it as a profitable product...

The industry and current generations see KLE as a "Legacy" PBX / Key System function...

For those that don't know what KLE is:
it is a simple Line 1 - Line 2 - Line 3 - Line 4 ...etc button layout that can be common to multiple phones.
When Line X rings, it can ring (and/or flash) on all the phones at the same time.
When Line X is in use, it stays light on all the phones while it is in use.
And last - but not least - One can simply press hold while on a Line X call, and it will blink on all the phones to indicate a held call on Line X.
Then someone can simply press the Line X button on another phone to connect to the Line X caller.

For a small business with multiple lines - it makes the most sense and is easier than using PARK orbits or other complex ways to place a call on hold.

I would not expect 3CX to spend resources to support the M100 with an official Template.

I am about to implement one of these M100 tomorrow - and I hope that I can just create 4 Users in 3CX
then enter the SIP auth id and SIP password into Account 1 - Account 2 - Account 3 - Account 4 in the M100 accordingly - then map Account 1 to Line 1, Account 2 to Line2, and so on.

I will post an update with my results within a few days.

We ended up Manually Registering the M100 back in January and registered 4 Handsets - this is a small site so it was not a big deal.

Things have been fine since - and we have had to make no adjustments.
