Hi all,

my customer has a SNOM PA1 attached to his PA system on ext 555, any idea on how to bar this number from dialled into externally via the 3CX IVR?

They just want incoming internal calls only to the PA1

Thanks,

Jerry

Hi @colchester telecom,

I wouldn't suggest editing parameters, it may work but it will void support. You could instead set up the IVR as a DTMF IVR, which would accomplish the same thing without editing any parameters.

Hi Vasilis,
They just want to stop external calls dialling into ext 555 via the IVR "if you know the extension number dial it now" but maintain the rest. They did have DDI numbers but all have been cancelled and they are advertising their IVR extn numbers.

By changing it to DTMF wouldn't it stop all incoming IVR calls across their 3CX?

Thanks,

Jerry

You could make a "firewall" extension to sit in front of your IVR.

in that extension you can create forwarding rules like the following, depending on your ext digit length
