Hy we are using snom d745 in a hotdesking setup when a user places a call the uses is logged out.

i figured out the phone has a function key "Logoff" , i can place this inactive on the phone setup page but this does not store this perm is there a way to loadup a template with the logoff button out of the template i will provide the users a BLF with the logoff function on a other page.

thanks in advantage

The first BLF key is always automatically assigned the "Logout" functionality and this cannot be changed in any 3CX Supported way.

Edit: Are you perhaps using the Snom D745 in CTI mode with the 3CX Windows Client?

Hy ChrisC,

yes we are using the phones in a CTI setup (we work on remote desktop , for the audio the pass correctly we setup a hotdesking in combination of CTI). For our yealink phones this works perfectly only the snoms log the people out when placing a call.

so there is no way to say in a template to not use the first key as logout?

In that case, I'm afraid there's no way around it other than using the 3CX Webclient instead of the 3CX Windows App. If you must use the 3CX Windows App you could only achieve this by utilizing a custom template which will render the specific IP phone configuration unsupported by 3CX.

i can i find a example template of the removal of that key ? so i can test this out ?

I'm afraid that creating a custom template is not possible for hotdesking via the 3CX Management Console and we cannot go in depth regarding custom templates in general since it's not supported by 3CX. Why not omit using hotdesking altogether? Is there a specific reason you need hotdesking for this case?

the users do not have a static place they pic a place to work and login in to the system

I see, in that case, I would simply recommend using the 3CX Webclient instead.
