Softphone can only share park call once.

Hi all,

I am looking to use the 3CX windows softphone instead of my Yealink T23G series.

I am using 3cx V18 on a windows self hosted system and softphone V20.0.410.0

The issue I have noticed is that I can put a call in shared parking just once. Once I retrieve the call from shared parking, I cannot place it back into shared parking again. The button in the app just dont do anything. This is something that was easily done on the Yealink's physical shared parking button.

Is this a glitch, or have I not set something up correctly.

Probably because v20 softphone is designed for v20, and not v18.

A few things I've read so far on 3cx say that the V20 softphone is compatible with V18.

Can anyone confirm this?

I was unable to replicate your issue. Can you provide steps on how you are reproducing this issue?

From my end I did the following
1. Reveived a call
2. Clicked on SP0 in BLF to park the call. Successfully parked
3. Clicked again on SP0 in BLF to retrieve the call. Successfully retrieved.

I then repeated steps 2 and 3 multiple times without issues

@ThomB_3CX - Thanks for replying and for checking out my problem on your system.

So when I receive a call:
I click the BLF for SP1 (Thats my numerical allocation) and it parks the call. It also shows the call on the physical phones BLF.
I click it again and it retreives the call

When I go to click any of the BLFs (I only have 3) again to park a second time, the mouse pointer becomes the hand, but when I click, nothing happens.
Additionally, when I retrieve the call, the Hold, records buttons on the main dialpad area become disabled.

Maybe my 3cx softphone installation is corrupt? I installed it from the Windows Store.

I tried the WindowsPhone6.msi which I think is an older version. When I put someone in shared park, it does not show up on the physical phones BLF.

Thanks for your reply. Could you try the following please?
Login to your webclient, delete the Sharedparking BLFs you have assigned and recreate them. Or create new one in the list.

Then try to reproduce your issue. Let me know the results

Hi,

I tried what you recommended. I even tried reinstalling the 3cx softphone from the windows store, but it still won't let me repark a call once I have retrieved it from a shared park. The button just doesn't do anything.

Could you kindly send us a log report?

To do so, follow these steps
- Click on More button
- About
- Click 12 times on the Version number
- This will take you to the Settings page
- Scroll all the way down to Debug options and expand this
- Enable Verbose logging switch

Reproduce the issue, and send me the logs via PM.
