softphone transfer with desk phone handset

wondering if it's possible to transfer using the softphone, when you are in desk phone mode ? reason we want to do this is we do not have pc headsets, however would like to be able to use the onscreen functionality

can anyone suggest a say to ltusers transfer calls from their pc, while using a hardwar phone ?
