Solved: 3CX Phone 5.0.14065.0

I've noticed that if I add an entry to the BLF tool it works fine, BUT if I edit it through the SOFT KEYS function under account, it changes the settings from BLF to SPEED DIAL. From that point on, no matter what you do, it will ALWAYS be Speed Dial. Even if you change it back to BLF, it will not change.

Can someone please confirm this behavior?

You can only set BLF for specific accounts. You cannot go and create a BLF entry and set it for : "ALL" Accounts.
You have the option to select for what option you want that BLF Button to be used for.

That did the trick. Thanks. It would seem to be one of those things that would be set to restrict an entry that would not work. I also don't see a way to remove an entry. If I uncheck the box, it simply makes the entry unavailable, but does not remove it.

You can't remove BLF Entries / buttons.

As you will see in the phone's interface there's around 20 BLF buttons. Like a hardware phone, we do not give the user the option to remove BLF Buttons, but you can configure them to be ON or OFF by adding info or removing all the info in their dialog boxes.

I think I'm looking for what you said; the ability to clear the information. I wasn't looking to literally remove the button, just the information in it.
