Solved: Old Polycom 501's provisioning

My home/home office has some old 501's. (Basically consists of all the phones I've demoed or got from customer sites) I'm currently using Polycom firmware 2.2.2 Provisioning in V9 needs 3.3.1 from Polycom but look at the support matrix they dropped 501 support way back.

Any thoughts or tips on provisioning the 501's under V9? Not a crisis..

Should of remembered this as I had to do this with Asterisk.

I setup a tftp server, hard set the IP's of the 501's and pointed them at the tftp server for their provisioning.

Copied my old pre service pack 4 provisioning directory to the tftp server. This directory contains the firmware which supports the old 501's.

Polycom 501's get their config from the tftp server.
All supported Polycom phones get their config from 3cx.
