So I was wondering how people adapt the design of their IVR to accommodate "press #1", "Press #2", "Press #3" etc... when the system of extensions is set to work with more than one digit.

"Press #100 for English, Press #200 for X" maybe?

Maybe there could be a feature request to include the option of dynamically changing the amount of digits?
Or to have the option of having a "single digit IVR" on one dedicated extension?

I'm very amazed with 3CX by the way.

Duh!

I'm totally loosing respect for myself in the process though. I'm glad this is just a monologue with a few generously quiet witnesses!

Digital receptionist. You can program redirect based on 1 digit.

You may create a VAD application to do that. There you can ask for user input and then take the decission depending on what the user has entered.
