Some minor issues

I think this is where visuals would be more helpful, but I think we are on the same page. Yes, installing the Linux SBC with the network connected, the install defaults to DHCP. Given that the 3CX is rather adept at catching local IP changes, I think the issue would be with the DHCP server not quickly reassigning an IP address. The direction I would lean would be to find out why the NIC lost its DHCP address, or do a static assignment and avoid the possibility...
. Was this an install on Windows or using the Linux ISO? If Windows, I am thinking that the SBC NIC lost DHCP, possibly from going to sleep to save power. That would be a network adapter setting.
. If it was Linux, I'd check the BIOS for an energy save option on the NIC.

Just a note here on the call parking issue.

We had an issue with a SIP Trunk provider known as nexvortex that a client had insisted on using against our recommendation, and we had this issue also, parked calls that couldnt be picked up, yet network testing showed no problems.

Long story short the cause was interesting, it wasnt 3CX, it was the trunk provider, the call had actually dropped on their side, but 3CX had not been notified by the trunk that the call was gone, so it would sit in limbo on 3CX unable to be picked up, because the call was no longer alive, almost as if the trunk provider was not always sending the BYE, the problem was intermittent. We added a demo trunk from a different carrier and forwarded their calls to the demo trunk on SIPTRUNK.com and the issue vanished, so then we ported all their number over to SIPTrunk.com permanently and kicked nexvortex to the curb, customer has been quiet and happy ever since.

Just an update: it's been about a week since installing the SBC and the shared park issue seems to be resolved and I'm able to update the config of the phones almost right away.
