SPA-3102 help

Hi Henk and friends,

Please i cannot receive the PSTN calls through my SPA3102 even when i try to make outbound calls using dial plan <#9<gw0>) just got a busy signal..

can some one give me any light please

Check your cables, if you use low quality cables from your SPA to your PSTN socket you might have voltage loss hence the disconnect tone.

What is your voltage reading on the SPA for your PSTN line?

The voltage reading of SPA is 3.5V, FXO port impedance=600
SPA To PSTN Gain:0
PSTN To SPA Gain:0
Ringer Impedance:: High(normal)
The cables is ok...

The stranger is that both devices stop to receive PSTN, and aslo to get a PSTN line to call using that dial plan #9... maybe will reset it for factory default

any other idea...?

Factory reset is a good thing. The SPA can become a bit confused over time.

Than start from scratch make sure you have the latest software. There are a few people on the forum that have problems I cannot replicate here in the lab so sorry for the delay in help etc. (been a bit sick in the mean time aswell ).

In your case.

Drop me an email with country you are in, what you want to do eg VSP in or out, PSTN in or out and Ill have one of the boys setting a config up for you.

But try a factory reset first. and rebuild
