I have a SPA-3102 Adapter setup to allow my house PSTN line to my VoIP phones. I am able to make outgoing calls and incoming calls work fine. However I have just discovered that if I am in a call with another VoIP phone (Example: Extension 100 > Extension 101) and someone calls me on the PSTN line I don’t get a call waiting signal on any of the phones or any other indication that there is an incoming call.
Things are setup as follows:
I have an inbound route set so when a call comes in on the PSTN it is sent to a ring group which all of the phones are assigned to. (801 Ring All)
I looked at the log in the server and found these messages when I tried a test call it might help with troubleshooting:
10:13:24.478 [CM503016]: Call(28): Attempt to reach <sip:[email protected]:5060> failed. Reason: Not Registered
10:13:24.478 [CM503017]: Call(28): Target is not registered: RingAll801:100101
10:13:24.478 [CM503010]: Making route(s) to <sip:[email protected]:5060>
10:13:24.478 [CM505002]: Gateway:[FXO01AA01] Device info: Device Not Identified: User Agent not matched; Capabilities:[reinvite, no-replaces, able-no-sdp, recvonly] UserAgent: [Linksys/SPA3102-5.1.10(GW)] PBX contact: [sip:[email protected]:5060]
10:13:24.463 [CM503001]: Call(28): Incoming call from 519XXXXXXX@(Ln.10000@FXO01AA01) to <sip:[email protected]:5060>
10:13:24.463 [CM503012]: Inbound out-of-office hours rule (unnamed) for 10000 forwards to DN:801
I looked under the system extensions status and the “801 Ring All Extension” is “Registered (Idle)”
All of the extensions are set up so that the PBX uses the “Phone Status” to be able to accept more than one call at the same time.
I also tried to see if the problem would happen between the local VoIP I made a call between two extensions and then used a third one to call one of the phones that were in use. Everything worked as it should. I got the call waiting beep through the handset, the light flashed on my SPA921 and the caller ID showed up.
If you need more configuration information or outputs let me know.
My current SPA-3102 Software Version is: 5.1.10(GW)
And my 3CX Installed Version is: 8.0.9941.549 (The Free Edition)
The VoIP Phones in use are Linksys SPA921 and the 3CX Softphone
Thanks
