SPS2002 and ring delay

Hi

I have 1 extension running on a Sipura SP2002. Then calling to other extensions (Xlite and SJphone) there is a five seconds delay before the phone starts to ring.

Calling the other way round (softphone to ATA) the delay does not exist.

Does anyone have any idea?

I may be wrong, but here are a lot of threads that describes this problem and its solution. If I remember it is a dial plan issue.

Post dial delay

A lot of ATAs use a five second post dial delay as a way of making sure you have finished dialling ie if you haven't dialled for 5 sec then it must be the end of dialling. A quick way to check this is to dial # after the last digit. The # tells the ATA to start dialling NOW. If it is the problem it can be fixed in the dial plan.
