ssh access?

Hi,

we just installed within a vm using the standard 3cx debian iso

need to change ip address of vm to static but when trying to ssh in as root (using password setup during install) get "access denied"?

vm console screen (see attached pic) just shows the the welcome screen.. says "ESC to go back", but ESC does not work (to get normal console command prompt)

ssh is installed, i can ssh in ok from network, just getting access denied (assume root ssh is disabled from network access - default debian)

console access not working, just get the screen shown in attachment, can't "ESC" it?

I would just start again, and reinstall 3cx which the correct IP address

Restart it and you'll get the normal login

thanks saqqara, just restarted vm (running on proxmox), went straight to login prompt this time, must be the initial opening console window after first install (couldn't seem to exit it) - then enabled remote ssh login for root

PS used to be a reseller years ago, setting this up for a customer as a one off, wow 3cx have come along way, is the free version still an option after the 1 year free licence expires?
