I've seen this question pop up a bit and it seems I've fallen into the same dilemma. I have renewed the license for another year and its on its latest update, 18.0 (Build 461). I keep receiving that the Cert expired. I rebooted the VM (Debian deployment) and the services. Still states expired so not sure if I have to wait a day or if there is any other way to force it? If any other information is needed let me know. I would just like to know if there is a way to force update it or if I just have to wait it out after purchasing the renewal
