Does anyone know what supported endpoint lets a client credentials application pause and resume recording on an existing CSR call in Update 9 or 10, and if so, what permissions are required?

Our intended workflow for PCI compliance needs: Pause recording automatically during payment entry, confirm it has paused before collecting card details, then resume afterward.

Alternative solutions welcomed.

Running on V20.0.9.995 - self hosted.

Currently not possible without the C# Call Control API in a custom module.

Or, I think @VoIPTools might have something for this with their API Relay.

You can do this using the 3CX web client or any 3CX app that lets an agent start and stop call recording directly from the app. Additionally, you can use CFD as mentioned in the guide: https://www.3cx.com/docs/cfd-credit-card-validation/
