I'm new with 3CX. I'm planning to start to offer some simple solutions to home/small companies using raspberry inside premises. Most of then have dynamic IPs. I know that may be a problem with 3CX because of that. What're your suggestions to work around this issue? Thanks!

Just set the wan network to dynamic instead of static

Hi Saqqara. I got that. Thank you! But if I use dynamic IP's I could have downtimes every time IP number changes. Isn't it? Unfortunately, static IP has an expensive price back home. Several smalls companies use a sort of residential access to wire to the internet. How to find a workaround for that?

Only downtime would be for remote devices - stun , sbc , 3cx app devices - while the dns records are updated - standard license dns update is 6 hrs, pro license is 6 mins.

all local devices will still work.

Of course you would need a sip provider that uses username and password as authentication

otherwise set instance on cloud for pbx, Amazon lightsail for example start at very small price ,then your pbx is with Static IP and your PI can be set as SBC on remote side

Correction: Std and Pro are 6h DNS. Enterprise is 5min for failover purposes.

Thank you! You guys are awesome. Helped me a lot :)
