Hi;

How can I change the default sort by extension to sort by Firstname, Lastname permanently in Status View? After exit the Google Chrome, and going back to webclient, the sort by feature return back to Sort by Extension. There is no Save button allow me to save the setting permanent, is there somewhere on webclient or in Web Console need to do?

thanks!

Perhaps its based on the PBX setting - under Advanced-Contacts-Options-Phonebook display

Thank you for your response Craig.

I found that in either Firefox and Edge, the setting can stay after change, same for my previous problem when turn on the Notification.

Under Chrome, it does not work. May be not compatible with my Chrome.

After few days testing and try it on different computer, different browsers, it is found that only the Setting cannot save on a particular computer only. What can I check why the setting cannot be saved? If some setting in Chrome preventing my change.

On PC #1
The setting of sort by Firstname, Last name can be saved properly no matter using Edge, Firefox, or Chrome.

On PC #2
It works on Edge, Firefox but not in Chrome.

That's I am thinking, might be some setting in Chrome on PC #1 prevent my change but I cannot find out how to address this problem.

If some of you face the similar problem?

Are you in Incognito/Private mode, or is something running that deletes cookies? (perhaps set to clear cookies when closing the browser)

Thank you Steve;

I found that my "Clear cookies and site data when you quit Chrome" is ON, because it is controlled by the Active Directory Group Policy, I will see to disable it and see how it work.

After removing the clear cookies at exit of Chrome setting in Group Policy and testing, the problem is resolved.

Thank you Steve's solution.
