The possibility to do webmeeting/videoconferences between two (or more) clients/computers on the same LAN without going to the internet first would be a great solution. This way the computers are not relying on the internetconnection for this.

This is something we are looking into. There is no ETA as to when it will be available as there are some technical challenges to overcome, but we are exploring ways this can be done in an efficient, usable and cost-effective manner.
 
Are you talking about an MCU that is integrated into 3CX PBX for on premise installations? This is a must have. 3CX looks like a great alternative for us. But we need local MCU for web/audio conferencing/meeting because of privacy protection.
 
Yes this is where it will be going with 3CX. But its not a small thing, to my knowledge no other PBX has this.
