Still possible to upgrade to v18 update 4?

Per this thread one should have upgraded to update 4, because now that 5 is out the Desktop App from update 3 can't self update to the update 5 version.

Our process has been to disable the automatic upgrade, and then enable it when ready to update. This way 3CX installs security/package updates.

I looked at existing servers which still offer update 4. If I manually install update 4 will it also install 5? Or stop at 4? I vaguely recall in the past if automatic updates are on the server would install an update and a hotfix, so is it correct automatic updates would install both 4 and 5 the same night?

I'm trying to see if I can avoid having a client manually update all Desktop Apps.

Regarding your question, what do you mean when you say manually install sp4?

Hi Charles, by that I just mean selecting update 4 and clicking Download Selected. As opposed to enabling automatic upgrades and letting 3CX upgrade itself.

In this case, this is still possible and needs to be done if only sp3 and you want to update to U5, you will need to first update to U4 and then to 5. However, the installers for U3 are not available for download, and the if deploying through partial, either 3cx hosted or self-hosted, you will only update 5.

Good news, I found one where they aren't using Desktop App, and confirmed that if I use Download Selected to upgrade, it installs 18u4 and does not install u5.
